During my travels I have stayed in many hotels that have been both good and bad. I know how difficult it is to find a good hotel and it can take a lot of time of planning. Here I will share my favorite hotels and spa's that I hope will make the search easier for you.
Mama Beach
Beautiful hotel with lots of details in the best location on Phi Phi Island. We are always staying here when we are going to Phi Phi and we always have a great time here. Strandflickornas Havsbad:
This beautiful hotel is located in Lysekil on the west coast of Sweden. You can book either a room in the main building or you can book one of their private cabins with a private dock.
I truly can say that this cozy place has been my favorite hotel in Sweden. Great location, beautiful rooms, delicious food and such an amazing staff. I loved our private sea studio with a hammock and a stunning view.

We had such a great time in Phra Nang Beach. We stayed in a very chic and cozy private villa on the beach. If you are looking for some privacy, I truly recommend this beautiful villa with a private pool and jacuzzi. You will also have your own living room with a stunning view. Åmund vin & fruktgård
A nice hideaway place that I highly recommend is this orchard just outside of Kalmar, near Öland. It is a wedding and conference facility. Who would not want to get married in a place reminiscent of a vineyard in an Italian village? For more information and booking check:
Kajane - Bali
My favorite place in Bali was Ubud and this amazing hotel is located in the middle of central Ubud. Kajane offers private villas with a private pool and a mini garden. Every morning a breakfast table was set in our own private balcony and the happy staff knocked on the window when they had finished setting the breakfast table. The central location in Ubud made it easy to get around. If you are looking for a spa that is centrally located but luxurious and also has a Turkish Hamam, you should definitely visit Sture Badet Marina Tower. From central Stockholm it takes approximately 15 minutes with a boat trip to this fantastic Hotel and Spa facility.
