Iran

My native country Iran is a fantastic place with enormous contrasts, both in its habitat and in its people.  If you go to Iran, you can experience winter and skiing holidays in the northern part and at the same time you can go to the southern part and enjoy the summer heat and fantastic sea. Most importantly, Iran has one of the world's most hospitable populations who always open their home with immense love.

Isfahan

Isfahan is the oldest city in Persia and a must if you go to Iran. The city is known for its many old bridges over the river Zayandeh Rud..

One of my favorite places are the old parts of Tehran where I visited some of the old traditional houses such as this one with the blue pool.

Food is very important for Iranians and this is their traditional bread called Sangak. In Persian 'sangak' means little stone. The bread is baked on a bed of small river stones in an oven. There are usually two varieties of this bread offered at Iranian bakeries: the common one which has no toppings; and the more expensive variety which is topped with sesame seeds.
