France

France has never been one of my top destinations, but lately I have completely changed my mind about it.

Valensole

One thing you should do while you stay at Valensole is to watch a sunset over the Lavender fields.

It is one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen. While the sun goes down towards the lavender fields, you feel the strong smell of lavender together with the warm summer breeze. It is something unforgettable

I read something very interesting about Lavender that I didn't know before. I knew that lavendel has many benefits but what I didnt know was that the most well known health benefit of lavender tea is its ability to induce calm. The relaxing effects of lavender tea can help improve sleep and may be used to treat sleep disorders.

If you go to Provence and the Riviera, make sure to visit some small villages. There are many but I have my favorites: Eze, Gourdon Rousillon, Moustierssaintemarie, Saintpauldevencefrance and Biotfrance.

There are many small beaches in the French Riviera, but my most favorite is Plage Lamala wich is within walking distance of Cap d’Ail town. It wasn’t easy to find this beautiful beach and there is no parking. You can only access it by foot via a lot of steps but it’s really worth a day trip.

Saint-Tropez

Saint-Tropez has been on my bucket list for too long. But unfortunately it was not at all as I had imagined it. Maybe it was because of all those beutiful little villages I had visited during my stay in France and not least the magnificent Provence area and Lavensole which all made my expectations of Saint-Tropez much higher. But it was still fun to visit this fishing village and get my own picture of it.
